Chemotherapy Starts

Joshua had his first chemotherapy on July 7. He was sick for two days with the usual nausea and throwing up. His appetite has changed. We are trying to let him eat when he wants and feels like it. We still make him eat healthy!!

The following chemotherapy treatments were on:

July 16 (Good Week...no sickness...no hair loss)

July 23 (Good Week...no sickness...no hair loss...weak muscles and some aches)

July 30 (Double dose of chemo...three hours in the clinic...sick for a couple of days...hair is
starting to fall out...caught us by suprise...had a sad "moment" there when we saw all the
hair on the pillow...Deana gave him a bath and took some "spiky" hair pictures for
fun!!!!!!!!!!)

Up and coming events - August 6 chemotherapy, August 8 Radiation Consultation.

Prayer Praise - We have had minimal sickness, fever, and high blood pressure with Josua. The tumor is visibly gone from the outside (it is no longer sticking out through his skin). Doctor said that it is getting very small very fast. He was amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is answering ours and your prayers.

Prayer Request - Please keep praying for the above and that the tumor would be gone by the next CT scan. That is our hope and what we are asking of the Lord God Almighty!! Please pray the cancer in the lungs is gone as well. Please pray for safe travel on the road between Pendleton and Portland.

Thank you all for the cards, gifts, emails, and prayers. Words cannot express how we feel.

You are covered by the blood of Jesus everyday. Angels about you come and go and travel. God is good and he loves you all very much and he hears our prayers. I pray that you feel his comfort and peace everyday. And I pray for healing. Keep the faith. We are all with you!

Love to all. Your Cousin Laura in SD

Thanks for the update!
We will keep praying! It helps to have specific things to pray for and to give thanks for too!
I hear through the grapevine that you are not sleeping well so I have included that in my prayers.
Hugs!
